Janis is a seasoned award winning Australian actress and comedy performer, best known for her roles in the popular film and television series; VH1’s World’s Dumbest, Scooby Doo, Walk the Walk, and the Netflix film Red Christmas. Janis is the lead love interest in the kooky 80’s inspired comedy series, Urban Monkey on ABC2.
Her 30 starring credits include commercials for, Kohl’s, Wendy’s, Amazon, Ajax, Nestle, Discover Credit Card, JCPenney, and Johnson & Johnson Band Aids.
She trained at the prestigious Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts.
Janis is also a writer, stand-up comedian and has performed at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, the Sydney Theatre Company and has extensively toured Australia starring in both dramatic and comedic theater productions.
We can add to her professional work, voice over actress and dialect nerd too. Janis teaches our TV1 Commercials & Improvisation classes for ages 8-11. Janis is a delightful, magnificent teacher and always brings joy and excitement into the classroom.
