Conn Barrett began her career as a successful teen print model and commercial actress with the prestigious Ford Model Agency in New York.
To overcome shyness, she began taking acting classes and the “acting” bug bit! She continued her training at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in NYC and Warren Robertson Studios.
After moving to Los Angeles, she began studying with legendary coach Harry Mastrogeorge and Academy Award nominee Sally Kirkland. A founding member of the highly regarded Space Theater in Hollywood, Conn starred in and directed several award winning plays which garnered favorable reviews from the LA Times.
Conn has appeared in over 100 national commercials; Jeep, Pizza Hut, Liberty Mutual, Sears, and Mc Donalds. And starred in numerous TV Shows and film projects, including the hit TV Shows, The Shield, Criminal Minds, The Tonight Show, and the Kacey Musgraves Rainbow Video. We can add to her credits appearing in indie film projects on the Sundance network along with several web series.
Teaching is a passion for Conn. Her biggest joy is watching her students tap into their creativity and imagination and grow as performers. Her students have starred as series regulars and guest stars in numerous TV and films including, Gotham, Mad Men, Touch, Criminal Minds, Mc Gyver, The Office and have won many awards including the esteemed SAG Actors Guild Award.
