By Mae Ross
The step-by-step process of how to get a great head shot begins with choosing a photographer. In this video acting lesson, I walk you through the photographer selection process.
First in a 5 part series; watch this video and learn, what to look for, what to ask, and what to consider when choosing a photographer.
Here are some tips on how to make your face look its best!
FACE
- Study yourself in the mirror and practice expressions, especially your smile. Be on the lookout for too much gum showing, squinting your eyes, wrinkling your nose and forehead.
- If you smile all the time in pictures practice NOT smiling and visa versa.
- Practice full, ¾ , ½ smiles and closed lip smiles.
- Practice relaxing your mouth when it is closed. This will keep you from looking stern.
- Please NO hands to your face or resting on your chin.
- Radiate warmth by thinking of pleasant thoughts
- Remember the camera is the winning BULLS EYE.
- Most important RELAX and HAVE FUN!! This is the quality that is attractive.
