About the Agent/Talent Relationship and

How to be your talent agent’s best client. Use these tips.

Agents Love Parents and Actors Who:

• Are always REACHABLE within an hour by phone, text or email.

• Within 2 hours (of an audition notice) confirm the date & time of auditions in the manner the agent has requested.

• Can find their own directions. Have a GPS.

• Commit and stick to the audition time.

• Arrive 15 minutes early to auditions!

• Do not MISS auditions!

• Know how & update photos & resumes promptly to casting sites, LA Casting, Actors Access etc.

• Be kind  professional & practice GOOD MANNERS at all times. This includes the parking lot, audition room, lobby, and especially on-set. Anywhere you are in contact with other professionals or performers be polite.

• Minors MUST bring WORK PERMIT & School work to set.

• Renew WORK PERMITS on time.

• Keep contracts and other important paper work handy and organized.

• Prioritize staying available for their agent.

• Emails instead of phone calling to get answers to simple questions.

• Immediately let their agent know of any dates you are not available to audition. Vacations etc. This is      called BOOKING OUT!

• Know how to book and sign up for their own photo shoots, classes, etc.

• STAY in ACTING CLASS so you are audition ready to book the job!
