3-2-1 Acting Parent Praises Program

Meet Laura Chambers, mother of the very talented Declan Chambers. We’re thrilled that this 3-2-1 Acting parent praises our program. Laura loved our Talent Showcase and all it offered her son: headshots, resume help, industry knowledge, and more! And we’re pleased as punch that we’ve been able to help build Declan’s self-esteem and confidence, and give his mom the tools she needs to help navigate his blossoming career!

We definitely have to mention just how talented Declan is- he can even cry on cue! We’ve loved helping him continue his acting journey!

Interviewer: How do you think that Declan, your child, grew from the showcase program?

Interviewer: Mainly, right of the bat, his self-confidence. He was always a little bit outgoing but had definitely shy moments and once he came in and I was able to see him grow from the program the self-confidence was there and it just grew from there.

Interviewer: Your learned a lot too about the industry and now you both are ready to go out into the world?

Interviewee: Oh my gosh. Incredible. And just coming here and asking questions and having May and all the actors that teach the classes are all actors. They are so knowledgeable and encouraging and positive and want to impart their knowledge and that’s how I learn and that’s what I want to understand, the industry, and it’s just been amazing.

Interviewer: Awesome! Do you think that Declan’s now ready to go out into the acting world and be as prepared as possible now that he’s done this program?

Interviewee: Absolutely. I think that’s a big part of the program. I don’t think that you necessarily have to do that but for Declan, someone who was interested in the first place, it just propelled him. It’s kind of been a whirlwind and it feels like it happened really quickly.

The other thing I want to say is the number one thing is that it’s fun and it makes it fun for the kids. There’s games. He loves the teachers. They’re young and vibrant and he talks about them. He doesn’t want to give them up for the next class actually.
